When the A-list actor appeared at the White House on Thursday and was asked about President Obamas reelection chances, Clooney — a staunch Obama supporter — said he didnt know.

Clooney, who attended Wednesday nights state dinner honoring British Prime Minister David Cameron, told reporters he enjoyed the black-tie affair and the woman seated beside him — first lady Michelle Obama.

I got to sit next to her, the Hollywood heartthrob said. It was really nice. I really enjoyed the evening. It was fun. I was very impressed with the prime minister and his wife as well.
