"We are delighted to publish Rielle Hunter's memoir. A lot has been said. But no one has heard the truth of what really happened until now," Glenn Yeffeth, publisher of BenBella Books, told People magazine. The release date for the book, titled “What Really Happened: John Edwards, Our Daughter, and Me,” is set for June 26.

On Thursday, Edwards was declared not guilty by a court on one felony charge related to allegedly breaking campaign finance laws, and the judge declared a mistrial on the other five felony charges. Edwards was indicted on charges that included conspiracy, making false statements and four counts of receiving illegal campaign contributions during his failed bid for the presidency in 2008.

Hunter did not testify in the case. A new trial seems unlikely.
