Romney campaign offers 'vintage' gear inspired by George Romney's presidential bid
The latest offerings from Mitt Romney's campaign Web store are looking to go back to the future.
The campaign announced Tuesday a new line of products inspired by Romney's father, Michigan Gov. George Romney, with psychedelic stylings reminiscent of his 1968 presidential campaign.
Among the offerings: tote bags, buttons and T-shirts stylized in groovy 1970s designs. The offerings range from a $3 button featuring a picture of the current Republican candidate with his father to a $35 three-quarter sleeve softball-style shirt.
The Obama campaign has also looked to expand the fashion choices available in their online store away from traditional offerings this cycle, promoting their "Runway to Win" collection that features famous designers like Marc Jacobs and Diane von Gurstenberg.
