Vogue editor Anna Wintour and producer Harvey Weinstein to host Obama fundraiser

President Obama will attend another high-powered fundraiser packed with Hollywood stars early next month at the Westport, Conn., estate of film producer Harvey Weinstein.

The Aug. 6 event will be co-hosted by Vogue editor Anna Wintour and tickets will cost $35,800 per plate, according to Connecticut's Democratic State Central Committee.

After the Hollywood fundraiser, the president will travel to a second event in Stamford, Conn., where tickets will cost $500 per person. 

Wintour and Weinstein have both been prolific fundraisers for the president this campaign cycle, and are both listed as having raised more than half a million dollars for Obama's reelection campaign.

The pair have been able to attract big names to Obama fundraising events. A June event co-hosted by Wintour and "Sex and the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker drew actress Meryl Streep, designer Michael Kors and Bravo' s Andy Cohen.
