Janna Ryan describes husband as 'pretty low-maintenance'

Paul Ryan's wife, Janna, sat for her first interview since her husband was named to the Republican ticket on Monday, and heralded the GOP vice presidential nominee as "pretty lowmaintenance."

"Paul is someone who goes with the flow and has one of the sunniest demeanors and most positive outlooks of anyone I've ever met," Janna Ryan told People magazine.

She predicted that her husband and Mitt Romney would quickly develop a rapport on the campaign trail.

"I'd say Mitt'll probably have a lot of fun with him," Ryan said, according to excerpts of the interview.

The full interview — which was conducted with Romney's wife, Ann — will be released on Friday, and took place between campaign stops in North Carolina.
