Ryan and Romney appeared together on CBS News's "60 Minutes" on Sunday night. But some conservatives have blasted the network for its editing of the interview, which omitted a moment where Ryan described his mother as a "Medicare senior in Florida." Ryan's Medicare reform plan has come under heavy fire from Democrats, who argue under his budget, seniors would end up paying more for their medical care.

On Fox News's morning show "Fox and Friends" on Monday morning, host Steve Doocy and guest hosts Ainsley Earhardt and Eric Bolling blasted CBS for omitting the line.

"If you watched '60 Minutes,' you know, you had like a 20 minute piece here, a 20 minute piece here on the Congo and whatnot, and then [Romney and Ryan's] interview was a lot shorter," said Earhardt, who said it was "interesting" the network had omitted the passage.
