Warren releases new ad saying she's not 'Wall Street insider' or 'Washington insider'
A new ad by Elizabeth Warren's Senate campaign says she's not a Wall Street insider or a Washington insider.
In the ad, a news anchor says Warren is "not a Wall Street insider. She’s not a Washington insider." A second news anchor then notes that Warren is the mind behind the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which helps consumers "get straight talk from banks."
The ad then goes on to quote a number of people calling the Democratic challenger to Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) "totally gutsy" and an opponent of "corporate interests" who's watching out for middle-class Americans.
The ad seeks to portray Warren as neither a big government bureaucrat nor in the pocket of Wall Street. Instead, the ad argues, Warren is a protector of the interest of middle-class Americans, a theme Warren has repeatedly touched on throughout her campaign.
