Cheating scandal rocks Harvard's 'Intro to Congress' class

Michael D. Smith, the dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, says that the university took the unusual step of announcing the investigation in order to “launch a broader conversation about academic integrity,” according to The Harvard Crimson, Harvard’s student newspaper. The school does not have an academic honor code.
