“Haven’t watched so far. Don’t plan on it,” Romney said when asked about the convention earlier in the day, according to The New York Times.

“If it’s another series of new promises that he’s not going to keep, I have no interest in seeing him because I saw the promises last time,” Romney said of Obama's speech. “Those are promises he did not keep, and the American people deserve to know why he did not keep his promises.”

But Romney's wife, Ann, told Fox News last Friday that she did plan to watch the Democrats.

"I want to hear the president speak and I'm assuming Michelle will speak and I want to hear her as well," she said.

Romney has spent most of the week preparing for the upcoming presidential debates in Vermont, but appeared at a "Veterans for Romney" event in New Hampshire on Thursday afternoon.
