

Sen. McCain praises Clinton speech condemning attack on US embassy in Libya
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) praised Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's statement condemning attacks on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya, that resulted in the deaths of four U.S. officials. McCain's tweet came immediately after Clinton's speech on Wednesday ended.

In the speech Clinton condemned the attack as one that "should shock the conscience of people of all faiths around the world." The attack occurred Tuesday night and President Obama issued a statement strongly condemning the protests. Obama also increased security at U.S. diplomatic sites around the world.
