President Obama to fundraise with Beyonce, Jay-Z

President Obama is joining pop-music super-couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé for a fundraiser at the rap mogul's 40/40 club in New York City.

The event, which will be held next Tuesday, will reportedly cost $40,000 per plate — a play off the club's name. But like other Obama celebrity fundraisers in the past, supporters can donate small dollar amounts for a chance to attend.

According to the campaign, one donor and his or her guest will be flown to New York City to attend the event, and given accommodation for their stay.

 "Beyoncé is hosting President Barack Obama in New York City and you could join them!" says a post on the singer's Facebook page. "Make a donation to the President's campaign here and you will be automatically entered to win this once in a lifetime opportunity for you and a guest."

According to the New York Post, the event will be capped at just 100 guests, although the president will attend a donor reception earlier in the day where a $12,500 contribution would fetch a picture with the president.
