Biden to appear on morning TV shows after second presidential debate

The planned appearances on the three shows sharply contrast the Obama campaign during the day after the first presidential debate, which Mitt Romney is widely thought to have won. During that debate Obama aides appeared the next day on the morning shows, not Biden or other prominent pro-Obama legislators.

The second presidential debate will be at Hofstra University in New York in Hempstead, N.Y., on Tuesday. Unlike the first debate, the second one will be in a town-hall format, in which both Romney and Obama will be asked questions from the audience.
