Ryan stops by Packers tailgate in Green Bay
Donning Green Bay Packers gear, GOP vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) tailgated near Lambeau Field ahead of the Packers game Sunday in the midst of his hectic campaign schedule.
Ryan made a brief appearance at tailgate ahead of a three-state campaign tour Sunday, which includes stops in nearby Minnesota, Colorado and Ohio.
The Wisconsin congressman, who was wearing a Packers jacket and green-and-gold tie, made the stop with Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.), according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Ryan will be back in Wisconsin for his final campaign rally on Monday in Milwaukee. The state has been reliably Democratic in recent presidential elections, but the Romney campaign is hoping to pick it off from Obama’s column, and the selection of Ryan as vice president was seen as a potential boost to the ticket's chances in the Badger state.
