The president interrupted his vacation last week to fly back to Washington for last-minute talks over the "fiscal cliff," but returned to his native Hawaii after lawmakers passed a deal extending the expiring Bush-era tax rates for middle-class families.

Obama signed the legislation on Wednesday while in Hawaii, using an autopen, a device that emulates the president’s signature.

Obama does not have any public events scheduled for Sunday.
