Rice and medical staff on hand attended to the woman, and The Associated Press reported she was later treated for a concussion and given intravenous analgesics. The wound did not require stitches.

According to the Times, Rice asked the woman's daughter to contact her with an update on her condition.

In August, Rice made headlines as she became the first of two women to be admitted to Augusta National Golf Club, the home of the annual Masters tournament.
