Obama to deliver commencement speech at Ohio State University

President Obama will deliver the commencement address at The Ohio State University, the White House announced Wednesday.

Obama will deliver the graduation speech on May 5 at Ohio Stadium.

"Ohio State is honored to have President Obama address our graduates and their families at the largest commencement in school history," Ohio State President Gordon Gee said according to The Columbus Dispatch. "That the final chapter of our graduates’ college experience will be written by the leader of our remarkable nation is an uncommon and unforgettable distinction."

Obama delivered the commencement speech at the University of Michigan, Ohio State's longtime athletic rival, in 2010.

Obama made appearances at universities in both Ohio and Michigan during his last presidential campaign.
