Trump supporter Steve Eckel, a retired New Jersey police officer, learned of a 4-month-old baby locked in a car alone in a Kohl's parking lot, according to the New York Daily News.

Eckel called 911 and proceeded to use a sledgehammer to break a window and rescue the baby. 

HLN — a cable news channel owned by Turner Broadcasting, a division of Time Warner — spoke to Eckel on the air. He wore a shirt supporting the GOP presidential nominee during that live interview.

But in a replay of the interview an hour later, HLN blurred the shirt.

"We blurred the logo and shouldn’t have; it was done in error,” an HLN spokesperson tells The Hill.

Earlier this week, sister network CNN altered content pertaining to Trump by omitting a word from one of his tweets. 

On Aug. 29, Trump called on his Democratic rival, Hillary ClintonHillary Diane Rodham ClintonIntel Dem decries White House 'gag order' after Bannon testimony 'Total free-for-all' as Bannon clashes with Intel members Mellman: On Political Authenticity (Part 2) MORE, to release her full medical records in a tweet. But when CNN reported the tweet on “CNN Newsroom” with Jim Sciutto, a graphic of the message Trump's use of “Crooked” proceeding "Hillary," his preferred nickname for his opponent.

A CNN spokesperson told The Hill that “the tweet should have been shown in its entirety."
