Man arrested with gun at Capitol

Authorities charged Alan Hoyle, 52, with carrying a pistol without a license, carrying unregistered ammunition and possessing an unregistered firearm, according to a statement from Capitol Police on Thursday. 

The arrest occurred a day after two bombs ripped through a crowd gathered at the Boston Marathon’s finish line, killing three people and injuring more than 170, at least two-dozen critically.
