President Obama is dining with all of the female members of the Senate Tuesday night, the White House announced.

The dinner is a continuation of a number of meetings the president has held with senators in recent weeks. He's hosted closed-door dinners with a dozen Democratic senators and two sets of 12 Republican senators. 

Sixteen of the 20 women serving in the upper chamber are Democrats.
