President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama attended parent-teacher conferences at their daughter's private school Tuesday morning.
The Obamas departed the White House Tuesday morning and took a motorcade to the campus of Sidwell Friends School.
Both of the Obamas' daughters, Sasha, 15, and Malia, 12, are enrolled at the elite private school, which has a split campus in Washington, D.C., and suburban Maryland.
The first parents have been regular attendees at the parent teacher conferences during their time in the White House. One of the president's first public forays after his election in 2008 was to a parent-teacher conference at the University of Chicago Laboratory School, where his daughters were then enrolled.
