Sports Illustrated trolls Trump over fake Time magazine cover

Sports Illustrated on Wednesday trolled President Trump over reports that a fake Time magazine cover hangs in some of his golf clubs, inviting readers to make their own fake magazine covers.

“Put yourself on the cover of SI. We won't tell anyone it's fake,” the magazine tweeted along with the blank cover.

The Washington Post first reported Tuesday that several of Trump’s golf clubs display a fake Time magazine cover showing Trump on the cover and calling his old TV show “The Apprentice” a “television smash.”

Time Magazine has since asked Trump to remove the fake magazine covers from public display.
