“We have made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years,” Trump tweeted early Friday morning.

“Let us know when you kill Bin Laden,” shot back former White House deputy chief of staff Alyssa Mastromonaco.

Earlier in the day, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright similarly accused Trump of over-hyping his successes in the war against terror.

“The Obama administration worked very hard on dealing with the terrorist issues,” Albright said. “It would be really nice if President Trump actually thought about what he was doing rather than always blaming president Obama.”

The former Clinton administration official added that she had not seen a marked difference in U.S. efforts to combat terrorism since Trump took office in January.
