The girlfriend of the man suspected of opening fire on an outdoor country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday has returned to the U.S.

FBI agents met Marilou Danley at a Los Angeles airport on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press.

Danley was reportedly in the Philippines when her boyfriend, Stephen Paddock, allegedly fired on an outdoor concert from his room at the Mandalay Bay hotel. At least 59 people were killed and hundreds more were injured.

Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo has Danley is again a person of interest in the case, and said he "anticipates information from her shortly," according to the AP.

NBC News reported on Tuesday that Paddock wired $100,000 to the Philippines days before the shooting

Danley's sisters defended her in an interview with Australia's Channel 7 TV network, calling her "a good person."

“She probably was even (more) shocked than us because she is more closer to him than us,” one of her sisters said.
