Rep. Michele BachmannMichele BachmannTrump says 2016 is the GOP's last chance to win Bachmann: Clinton will prosecute churches and nonprofits The Hill's 12:30 Report MORE (R-Minn.) is hearing voices, one of her fellow Minnesota lawmakers teased.
Speaking to a constituent at a townhall, Rep. Jim Oberstar (D-Minn.) dismissed the healthcare claims made by Bachmann, questioning where she's getting her information.
"Tell her there are voices other than God that are informing her now," he said, according to the Minnesota Independent.
The comment about God likely refers to comments Bachmann made recently saying she'd run for President if God told her to.
Bachmann has been one of the most strident critics of healthcare reform, telling constituents earlier this week that reform opponents should "slit our wrists" and become "blood brothers" in the effort to stop Democratic legislation.
When asked about Bachmann's comments again later, Oberstar repeated his barb.
"What has God now inspired her to say?" he quipped, the Duluth Tribune reports.
