Club for Growth hitting Scozzafava with $250k ad blitz

The Club for Growth isn't joking about jumping into the special election in New York.
Today, the Club announced a $250,000 ad blitz aimed at supporting Conservative Party nominee Doug Hoffman and opposing Republican Dede Scozzafava. The Club endorsed Hoffman last week, but this represents a whole new level of involvement and is unlikely to make national Republicans too happy.
Still, a poll today showed Scozzafava in much better position than a poll the Club released last week, so there is plenty of work to do.
