Waters on Palin: 'I don't care'

While pundits speculate the political future of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), one Democratic congresswoman suggested Wednesday she could not possibly care any less.

When asked what she thought about the Republican Party's 2008 vice presidential candidate and her forthcoming book, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) shot back, "No, I don't think she's worthy of a response."

"This is a woman who's writing a book, and someone remarked the other day, she hasn't even read one," Waters told CNN. "So I don't care what she has to say."

Palin's book, "Going Rogue," is due out this November, months ahead of schedule.

Rep. Waters unintentionally explained most of the intense hostility towards Palin in two words: "Someone said". Generally speaking, people seem to be either repeating what they've heard other people say, or basing their opinions on Sarah Palin because of what they've seen on comedy shows like SNL, John Stewart or Colbert - but not based on what Sarah Palin herself has done or said. For many people who disdain and/or fear Sarah Palin, that demonstrates their inability to do their own research and analysis, and/or their willingness to just be political parrots or sheep.BY Nancy on 10/08/2009 at 12:30

That's OK Maxine - no one really cares if you exist either. In fact, the jury is out as to whether you serve any useful function at all - other then to steal air from more productive members of society.
