NRCC questions Conservative's conservatism
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is looking to call Conservative Party special election candidate Doug Hoffman's conservatism into question.
A new ad from the committee takes square aim at issues that make Hoffman look not-so-conservative in an effort to call his candidacy into question. The targets are conservative voters who might be looking for a more right-leaning alternative to centrist GOP Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava.
Hoffman has been unclear about where he stands on civil unions, and the NRCC also accuses him of supporting big-government bailouts.
It's an interesting situation, given that Hoffman has said he would caucus with Republicans once in Congress.
The ad is web-only.
