No Senate tea leaves as Rep. Etheridge raises $150k

Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-N.C.) isn't raising money like a Senate candidate yet.
The congressman, who is weighing a run at Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), on Wednesday filed a third-quarter report showing just more than $150,000 raised. At the same time, it helped him increase his cash on hand to more than $1 million, so he has a decent start if he does decide to run.
Democrats are still seeking out the right candidate to run against Burr, whose approval ratings continue to languish.
