Ginsburg briefly hospitalized
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spent Wednesday night in the hospital after experiencing an adverse reaction to two medicines, the Associated Press reported this morning.
According to a court spokesperson, Ginsburg -- who was hospitalized earlier this year for a cancer-related surgery -- requested a sleeping aid Wednesday evening in preparation for her late flight to London. But the aid, when combined with cold medication she had taken earlier in the day, made the Supreme Court justice so drowsy that she fell soon from her seat -- and was promptly escorted off of her plane.
Ginsburg was released from the hospital Thursday morning, the spokesperson added.
