Obama, Pelosi to meet Thursday

President Barack Obama will meet with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) tomorrow in the White House.

The two will meet over lunch as healthcare reform legislation nears its completion for consideration on the House floor. Yesterday, The Hill reported that Pelosi had planned to reveal a proposal that included a public health insurance option favored by liberals.

The president will also meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner separately in the Oval Office; making it likely that Obama will tackle three major issues tomorrow: healthcare reform, Afghanistan and financial regulatory reform.
