Area around Reid's office evacuated

Two hallways outside Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) have been shut down in a security scare.

Several Capitol Police officers have closed the immediate hallway outside Reid's suite as well as the Ohio Clock corridor. Initial alerts announced a suspicious package, but some officers say the source of the warning is an envelope left in the hallway. Police have begun unpacking numerous pieces of equipment in the area.
