Rubio to headline CPAC

Florida Senate candidate Marco Rubio (R) will headline Conservative Politcal Action Conference (CPAC), organizers of the conference announced today.

CPAC is the largest and probably most influential gathering of conservative activists in the country. It's a standard cattle-call for prospective presidential candidate. President Bush keynoted in 2008.

The invitation to Rubio can only be a boon to his campaign against moderate Florida Gov. Charlie Crist (R), who has incurred the wrath of the conservative base.
