NRCC raised $3.4M in October
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) will report $3.4 million raised in October, according to a committee source.
The committee was forced the spend heavily on an unsuccessful special election in New York’s 23rd district, which drained close to $900,000 from its coffers on independent expenditures. The committee wound up spending a combined $3.6 million for the month.
The NRCC’s cash on hand now stands at $4.2 million, with $2 million in debt left from last cycle.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has yet to release its figures and will not do so until tomorrow. The reports aren’t due until Friday at midnight.
The DCCC showed $14.7 million on hand and $4 million in debt, as of the end of September.
As for the other committees (which were previously reported here), the Democratic National Committee (DNC) outraised the Republican National Committee (RNC) in October $11.5 million to $8.8 million, and on the Senate side, Republicans narrowly outraised Democrats $4 million to $3.7 million.
