Rep. Zenon Christodolou?
Attention has turned to Democratic Party fundraiser Zenon Christodolou in the fight to unseat Rep. Leonard Lance (R-N.J.).
Christodolou hasn't confirmed his interest in the seat, but several Democrats in Lance's 7th congressional district are talking him up pretty big.
Lance won plaudits for his performance in the 2008 election, defeating state Assemblywoman Linda Stender (D) 50-42, even as the district went narrowly for President Obama. He rebounded quickly from an expensive primary campaign and easily beat a candidate who had nearly upset Rep. Mike Ferguson (R-N.J.) the cycle before.
This will be a tough one for Democrats, but it is an Obama-Republican district.
No other Democrats have stepped forward yet. Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac met with the DCCC about it, but wound up taking a pass.
