Brown makes first endorsement

Scott Brown is already throwing around his considerable political capital.

The senator-elect has given his first endorsement to Bill Hudak, a businessman running against Rep. John Tierney (D-Mass.) in another uphill battle for Republicans.

“Bill was with us from the beginning and is (the) representative the people of the 6th district need," Brown said in a statement. "Bill is not beholden to special interests and will help me bring the voice of the people Washington."

Hudak's race is not one of the top GOP pickup opportunities, but the candidate raised a respectable $154,000 in the third quarter.

Look for other candidates to beg and plead with Brown to come to their state. He's got his own 2012 reelection to worry about, as well.
