Fox News to air special feature on Obama presidency

Fox News will air a special segment titled "President Obama: In His Own Words" this weekend in which the network analyzes the first year of Obama's presidency.

The feature will air clips of Obama speaking both on the campaign trail and as president and will be anchored by Brett Baier, who helms the network's night "Special Report" program. Fox News will broadcast the special at 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

"Sometimes his decisions as president have contradicted his promises as a candidate," says Baier in a preview of the special. "He even appears to be continuing some policies he once called mistakes.

"And in many areas he has made more than good on his promise to change, fundamentally change, our country."

Fox News and the Obama White House have frequently clashed during the president's first year in office.

White House officials have claimed the network's coverage of the administration is biased and that the network leans too far to the right to be called objective.

Specifically, the administration has accused the network of spreading falsehoods about healthcare reform legislation.

The network has accused the administration of unfairly targeting for airing its viewpoints and refusing to differentiate between its news reports and opinion segments.
