Moran raised $404k in fourth quarter

Rep. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) raised $404,000 in the fourth quarter and banked $3.7 million for his Senate campaign, his campaign reports.
Moran's opponent, Rep. Todd Tiahrt (R-Kan.), has yet to report his fourth quarter numbers.
Moran has consitently outraised Tiahrt in the contest. He also began with more money and has done a better job of banking the money he has raised. Tiahrt had $1.4 million in the bank at the end of the third quarter.
A recent SurveyUSA poll showed Moran with a three-point lead on Tiahrt, 37-34. The winner is a heavy favorite to succeed Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) as he runs for governor.
