Obama mentions 'snowmageddon'
During his address before the Democratic National Committee's (DNC) Winter Meeting on Saturday, President Barack Obama said the word on the minds of many in Washington: "snowmageddon."
Obama used term quickly becoming popular among D.C. denizens to describe the massive snowstorm hitting the area this weekend.
The president thanked DNC donors who braved the elements to attend the meeting.
Party chairman Tim Kaine also made a crack about the weather during his remarks.
"It's like an April day in Chicago," Kaine said about Obama's adopted hometown.
