Rep. John Boozman (R-Ark.) has chosen the daughter of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), Sarah, to run his Senate campaign.
Sarah Huckabee formerly served has executive director of HuckPAC, her father's political action committee.
Before that, she was national political director of the governor's 2008 presidential bid.
"Sarah has the experience, leadership qualities, and intimate knowledge of Arkansas I'm looking for in a campaign manager," Boozman said in a statement. "I am thrilled Sarah will serve as my campaign manager and I am fully confident she has what it takes to help me secure the primary nomination and successfully lead my efforts to represent the people of Arkansas in the U.S. Senate come November."

The decision to bring Huckabee aboard is his campaign's first major staff hire.
The nonpartisan Cook Political Report rates the race as a toss-up.
