Cornyn: It's not hypocritical for GOPers to tout stimulus

A top Republican senator said Wednesday that
it is not hypocritical for members of his party to tout projects funded
by the federal stimulus project.
Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) made his comments on the one-year anniversary of the $787 billion bill.
He tweeted:
Myth:
no contradiction to vote against reckless stimulus but if maj hellbent
to spend the money anyway, make sure Texas gets fair share
Cornyn pushed back against the narrative being pushed by Democrats that Republicans have been hypocritical in promoting stimulus-backed projects in their district.
The Democratic National Committee has specifically targeted 93 Republicans for promoting stimulus projects in their districts.
