Michelle Obama to deliver commencement addresses
First Lady Michelle Obama will deliver a handful of commencment addresses this spring, the White House announced today.
On May 8, Mrs. Obama will speak to the graduating class of University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff, a historically black college.
A week later, the First Lady will address The George Washington University. Mrs. Obama will speak to the students only if the university completes 100,000 of community service in the 2009-2010 school year. (She made that deal with the school back in September.)
Finally, the First Lady will speak to the graduating class at Anacostia Senior High School in D.C. on June 11th. Mrs. Obama visited the high school last year as part of a "Women if Excellence" event.
