Obama's Fox interview gets combative

Fox News's exclusive interview with President Obama airing tonight is notably combative, with a frustrated President Obama repeatedly lamenting that Fox's Bret Baier won't let him finish his sentences.

"Bret, let me finish my answers here," Obama said at one point.

For example, here's a portion of the transcript straight from Fox:

BAIER: So how can you —

OBAMA: — the notion that —

BAIER: — guarantee that they're not going to —

OBAMA: — so but —

BAIER: — they're going to be able to keep their doctor —

OBAMA: Bret, you've got to let me finish my answers —

BAIER: Sir, I know you don't like to filibuster, but —

OBAMA: Well, I'm trying to answer your question and you keep on interrupting. So let me be clear.

At the end of the chat, Baier apologized for the repeated interruptions.

"I apologize for interrupting you, sir. I tried to get the most for our buck here," he said. 

Later on the broadcast, Fox's Brit Hume applauded Baier for beihg tough with Obama.

"I salute you for doing the best you could and being aggressive as I think you needed to be," Hume said.
