Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) said Thursday that if
President Barack Obama offered him a job in his administration, he would
"probably say no."
In an interview on MSNBC, Daschle said the president is tough person to say no, but said he is "very happy, very content with what he is doing right now."
Daschle, who is now an adviser at DLA Piper, had been rumored to join the White House staff after Sen. Scott Brown's (R-Mass.) victory.
Daschle withdrew his nomination as secretary of Health and Human Services amid a major controversy on his personal tax returns.
