

Rep. Smith leaning 'yes' on revised healthcare package

Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.) said he is leaning toward
voting for Democrats' revised healthcare bill.
Smith appeared on Andrea Mitchell Reports Friday to say he was "leaning much more in favor now that the CBO score is out."

The Congressional Budget Office released numbers Thursday
contending the bill would decrease the federal deficit by $1.3 trillion
over twenty years.
However, Smith, who voted for the bill in November but expressed concern
about the revised bill's cost, is still officially undecided on his
vote.
"The biggest thing pushing me into the yes column is the
need to get us started on reform," he said.
