Top members of the AFL-CIO will be on-hand at the Capitol on Sunday for today's momentous healthcare vote.

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and the union's legislative director, Bill Samuel, will be on the Hill to help work today's vote, according to Eddie Vale, a spokesman for the labor group.

Trumka and Samuel "will be working the hallways outside the chamber doors to help make sure this gets across the finish line," Vale said.

The AFL-CIO, despite having fought against during some elements of the healthcare bill -- such as the excise tax on high-value insurance plans -- during the process of crafting the bill, had announced its strong endorsement of the package last week.
