Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), a member of the House Democratic leadership, held a town hall meeting in her district after she confirmed receiving threats after the healthcare vote.
The lawmaker held the town hall, which became heated, as she told CNN that she was threatened in the days after the House voted on the healthcare legislation last month.
Meanwhile, Wasserman Schultz held a packed town hall meeting at which she spoke about the healthcare law. Many opponents of the bill filled the audience and shouted at the congresswoman. She repeatedly had to ask for members of the crowd to "be respectful."
Other audience members booed and shouted down health law opponents.
