Inhofe on Kerry-Lieberman: 'It's not going to pass ... it's dead'
The Senate's biggest opponent of climate legislation says conservatives shouldn't worry about the recently unveiled Kerry-Lieberman bill, because it's dead on arrival.
"It's not going to pass," Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) told a conservative radio show. "I don't want anyone to get worried about it, because it's dead."
It's not the first time Inhofe has declared victory in the climate debate. Back in November, he told Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) that the debate over global warming was over.
"We won, you lost. Get a life," he said.
