DSCC rolls out early attacks on Simmons

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) moved quickly Monday to try to tie former Rep. Rob Simmons (R-Conn.) to former President George W. Bush as Simmons works to get his 2010 Senate bid off the ground.

Simmons decided Sunday to challenge Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) for reelection, pitting a top-tier challenger against an incumbent who has seemed increasingly weak in tracking polls.
