Obama Backers Already Waiting at Grant Park

Supporters of Barack Obama hoping to attend a victory rally tonight in Chicago's Grant Park began lining up Tuesday morning, hours before gates open, reports Chicago Breaking News.

City officials expect more than 1 million people to show up at the rally. They'll be allowed to enter at 8:30 p.m. The Obama campaign handed out 75,000 tickets; those without tickets has to wait their turn.

The Obama campaign has already lucked out in one respect; the temperature on Election Day in Chicago is a balmy 72 degrees, notes RealClearPolitics.
