Poll: Ga. Senate Race Remains Close

A new poll released Tuesday afternoon on Georgia's red-hot U.S. Senate race shows the race staying unchanged in its closing days, with incumbent Republican Saxby Chambliss maintaining his two-percent lead over Democratic challenger Jim Martin.

The Insider Advantage/Poll Position was conducted Monday of 637 likely voters. It showed Chambliss at 46 percent and Martin at 44 percent.

Two previous polls showed the same -- a Rasmussen poll of 500 likely voters conducted on Oct. 22 and a Research 2000 poll of 600 likely voters conducted Oct. 14-15.
